I really dig your style and i think i've found out why with this one piece of yours.
You use pixels but do a great job to make their natural square restriction disapear.However, you can always find square patterns that reminds you of the technique used and this other virtual world those creations are all born from. I like it.

My mind is pleased by the slight angle of each tree. Makes the forest so much more consistent... it gives movement to the whole scene, even whitout the crawling fog.

[Rose Garden]

The colours and textures on this one reminds me of the art style for the game Sword & Sworcery. That roof looks almost alive too :p
